What a great privilege we dads have and we couldn’t really do it without some children to practice on! So dads let’s be really thankful that God gave us the gift of children.  For some of us our children are still very young, for others they are grown up. But whatever stage we are at God wants us to value the relationship. It is truly precious and vital for them and for us.

 

God is a great father to us and He wants to cause us to be like him. He is also a God who brings restoration and where there has been estrangement He purposes to turn the hearts of the fathers to the children and the hearts of the children to their fathers.

Let’s not miss out on all that he wants to do through our relationship with them. In Him we can find the grace to be all that we are called to be. But if we are to succeed we need most of all to know our heavenly father’s love.
